TRAUMA THERAPIST IN CALIFORNIA + ARKANSAS
IT’S TIME TO HEAL WHAT YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM HAS BEEN CARRYING.
JESSICA DINEEN, LPCC
You're here because you’ve been in survival mode for far too long.
On the outside, you look accomplished and put-together — you do what needs to be done.
But inside, you feel exhausted from constantly managing your nervous system.
You’re carrying trauma no one sees.
Your relationships feel strained.
You’re trying to leave an abusive relationship — or trying to heal from the one you already left.
You want to feel hopeful again, but even hope feels risky.
And healing can seem just out of reach.
You’re not alone. And you don’t have to keep doing this on your own.
You’re in the right spot.
How I work
I help people heal from trauma, relationship wounds, and narcissistic abuse with a warm, structured, and deeply supportive approach.
My style blends clinically proven trauma therapies with a grounded, compassionate presence. I ask meaningful questions, offer clear guidance, and help you understand the patterns driving your symptoms and experiences.
Clients often tell me they feel genuinely seen and understood in our sessions — and that’s intentional. When you’ve endured trauma or narcissistic abuse, feeling believed and supported is the first step toward reclaiming yourself.
To best support this work, I completed specialized training directly with Dr. Ramani Durvasula, one of the leading experts in narcissistic abuse. This training allows me to offer a depth of insight and a clear roadmap for recovery that many clients say they’ve never received before.
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as we work through what’s been holding you back. Healing doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or confusing — with the right support, it can feel clear, empowering, and transformative.
As you scroll, you’ll learn more about what I believe about therapy, the tools I use, and the areas I specialize in. But here’s the heart of it: I’m here to help you heal in a way that feels empowering, compassionate, and deeply human.
HEre’s what I believe about therapy:
The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of healing.
Research consistently shows that the biggest predictor of success in therapy is the relationship you have with your therapist. You should feel liked, understood, and safe with the person sitting across from you — otherwise, the deeper work can’t happen.
Personal understanding matters as much as clinical expertise.
While a therapist doesn’t need to share your lived experiences, it helps when the person guiding your healing truly gets it. My work is grounded in both specialized training and real understanding of what trauma and narcissistic abuse can feel like from the inside.
Therapy works best when it’s collaborative — you hold wisdom, and I help you access it.
Trauma teaches you to doubt your intuition, your clarity, and your inner knowing. I don’t believe in a top-down approach. I bring clinical expertise, but you bring the lived wisdom. Together, we uncover what’s already within you and rebuild trust in yourself.
Get the support that’s right for you.
