OC Trauma Therapy LLC ("OC Trauma Therapy," "we," "me," or "my"), the practice of Jessica Dineen, LPCC, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit oc-traumatherapy.com or contact me, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. It does not govern therapy services, which are covered by the separate Notice of Privacy Practices and informed consent documents provided to clients.

Please do not send private health information through this website

This website, email, and text messages are not secure channels for clinical information. Please limit messages to scheduling and general questions, and do not include details about your symptoms, history, or treatment. Clinical information is exchanged only through the secure systems used for clients.

Information you provide to me

If you call, email, or otherwise contact me to ask about services or book a consultation, I receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, and the contents of your message. I use it only to respond to you, schedule consultations, and communicate about services. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for marketing purposes.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site and its hosting provider (Squarespace) automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website, and approximate location. This site may also use cookies and similar technologies for security, basic site functioning, analytics, and measuring the performance of advertising. This information is used to keep the site running, understand how it is used, and improve it. It is not used to identify you personally, and you should never assume that visiting this site is a confidential communication.

Advertising and analytics

I may use advertising and analytics services, such as Google, to measure whether my advertising is effective. These providers may use cookies or similar tools to collect information about your visit and may combine it with other information they hold, under their own privacy policies. I do not intentionally share health information, session details, or client status with these services. You can limit tracking through your browser settings, by clearing cookies, by using private browsing or tracking-prevention tools, or by visiting Google's Ads Settings and opting out of personalized advertising. Some browsers also support Global Privacy Control signals, which I honor where technically possible.

Third-party services and links

This site may link to or embed third-party content, such as podcasts, interviews, social media, and communities. Those third parties have their own privacy practices, and I am not responsible for them. Please review their policies before sharing information with them.

How information is shared

I do not sell or rent your personal information. I share it only with service providers who help me operate this website and my practice and who are expected to protect it, when you ask me to, when required by law or valid legal process, or when necessary to protect someone's safety.

Data retention and security

I keep inquiry-related communications only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. I use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request access to or deletion of it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. I do not sell personal information. To make a request, call 949.891.2468 or email jessica@oc-traumatherapy.com. I may need to verify your identity before responding. Records that are part of a client's clinical file are subject to separate legal requirements for retention and access.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information through this site, please contact me and I will delete it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the most recent revision. Please review it periodically.
